The line-up for Top of the Pops' Christmas and New Year specials has been revealed

Olly Murs, Clean Bandit and Craig David are on the festive bill.

The BBC have announced the star-studded line-ups for this year's Christmas and New Year specials of Top of the Pops.

Clean Bandit, Olly Murs, James Arthur and Kungs are leading the bill on the Christmas episode, scheduled for Christmas Day itself, with the likes of Skepta, Louisa Johnson, Jonas Blue, DNCE, Calum Scott, Zara Larsson and Craig David completing the impressive roster of talent.

Craig returns for the New Year's extravaganza, alongside Blossoms, Dua Lipa, Nathan Sykes, Alan Walker, Anne-Marie, Kikedo & George Kwali, Clean Bandit, Jonas Blue and Zara Larsson.

Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates will return to host the one-off annual celebrations, and Fearne promised that the event will be "a special watch": "The festive Top of the Pops specials are such a wonderful tradition, and I’m so happy they’re back for another year. The line-up is as epic as ever, and the show’s promise to be a special watch.”

Reggie is looking forward to "one of the highlights" of his year, and reuniting with Fearne: "Hosting the annual Top Of The Pops Christmas and New Year’s Eve specials is one of the highlights of my year - it’s always a pleasure to present the biggest pop party on TV alongside my old friend Fearne."

The Christmas Day episode will also feature highlights from the 2016 Christmas Number 1 race, looking at which act managed to win the coveted festive chart topper.

Look out for Top of the Pops on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve on BBC One.

And what big selling singles did Skepta or the Blossoms have in 2016? Thought maybe go back to good old Christmas totp when you had just the #1s of the year as theres been only approx. 10 this year! Rubbish never get any of the big artistes on just ones that turn up to the opening of a envelope!!!

Agreed, Mainly a mish mash of one hit wonders,talent show contestants and Craig David, who hasn't had a Top Ten hit (in his own right) for nearly a decade.Pathetic...and don't get me started about the presenters!
