It's looking like the top of the DVD/Blu-ray chart is going to belong to a jungle VIP this week. Disney's new adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling children's classic The Jungle Book is soaring ahead in the race to Number 1.

The live action/CGI movie, which chronicles the adventures of orphan Mowgli, is outselling the rest of the Top 20 combined at this midweek stage, racking up 105,100 sales on DVD/Blu-ray.

Last week's chart-topper The Hunstman: Winter's War is frozen out to Number 2, while British thriller Eye In The Sky also falls one to 3.

Batman v Superman – Dawn Of Justice drops one place to 4, and Walt Disney's Zootropolis holds firm at 5.

Natalie Portman-starring western Jane Got A Gun is new at 7, and also looking good for entries in the Top 40 are thriller The Colony (13), a boxset of the live action Jungle Book and the 1967 animation (15), The Dam (37) and Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead (38).
