StreetDance 2 tops Official Video Chart

StreetDance 2 has debuted at Number 1 on the Official Video Chart.

The DVD and Blu-ray release of the follow up to 2010’s StreetDance 3D, which stars Falk Hentschel and Sofia Boutella, as well as Britain's Got Talent stars George Sampson and Flawless, has knocked Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson’s We Bought A Zoo off the top spot.

Spurred on by the box-office success of The Dark Knight Rises, the first two instalments of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, climb five places from Number 7 to Number 2, while We Bought A Zoo is down two to Number 3.

Brit comedy/drama, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, is up one place to Number 4, while the big screen adaptation of ‘80s/’90s police show 21 Jump Street, completes this week’s Top 5.

New Entries

In addition to StreetDance 2 (Number 1), there are three other new entries in this week’s Official Video Chart Top 40. Dexter Fletcher's directorial debut, Wild Bill, is new in at Number 8, while Bel Ami (which stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Christina Ricci and Colm Meaney) debuts at Number 10. The Blair Witch Project-esque The Paranormal Incident completes this week's new entries, charting at Number 36.
