Sam Smith’s debut album In The Lonely Hour is on track to spend a sixth non-consecutive week at Number 1 following the singer-songwriter’s Grammy success.

Sam scooped four gongs at the 57th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday including; Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album (In The Lonely Hour), Record Of The Year (Stay With Me) and Song Of The Year (Stay With Me).

In The Lonely Hour first topped the chart for two weeks upon its release back in June 2014, before returning for a further fortnight in September and once more in January this year.

The album is currently just 200 copies ahead of its nearest competitor Kodaline’s Coming Up For Air, which debuts at Number 2 today.

Ed Sheeran’s X drops one place to 3 today, followed by Indie rock quartet Peace with second studio album Happy People (4).

Rounding out today’s Top 5 is George Ezra, up one place with debut LP Wanted On Voyage (5).
