Rita Ora has confirmed details of her new single, called Anywhere.
The track, which was co-written by Rita and Andrew Watt (Camila Cabello's Havana, DJ Snake's Let Me Love You), will be released this Friday, October 20.
Discussing the inspiration behind the song, Rita said: “I was in a routine, working every day, and found myself day dreaming about breaking out of the city and going on a road trip with my friends and never looking back."
Rita shot the accompanying music video in New York with director Declan Whitebloom, whose previous credits include Jess Glynne's Don't Be So Hard On Yourself and Ain't Got Far To Go, plus Taylor Swift's We Are Never Getting Back Together.
The video was filmed around the streets of New York City, including Times Square, the Meatpacking District, China Town, and on top of a hotel overlooking the Hudson River. See a selection of shots from the clip below (credit - Angie Bambii):

Anywhere and Rita's recent Top 10 hit Your Song plus her Avicii collaboration Lonely Together will feature on her long awaited second album, which is due for release next year. Producers and co-writers include Stargate, Julia Michaels and DFA.
Next month Rita will host MTV Europe Music Awards, which take place on November 12 and London's SSE Arena in Wembley. It's the fifth time the UK has hosted the awards, following Edinburgh (2003), Liverpool (2008), Belfast (2011) and Glasgow (2014).
