Legendary duo set to release 12th album this Summer

Pet Shop Boys are set to release a brand new album on July 15. Called Electric, it’s the duo’s 12th studio album and is produced by Stuart Price (who has previously twiddled the knobs with the likes of Madonna, The Killers and Take That). It contains nine new tracks, all very aimed at the dancefloor end of proceedings, and even features a Bruce Springsteen cover (The Last To Die) and a collaboration with Example (Thursday).

Neil and Chris told a press release that "Electric is very much set on the dance floor," adding: "Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, whereas Elysium had a reflective mood, Electric is pretty banging! And working with Stuart Price on a studio album is something we have wanted to do for a very long time."

The full tracklisting is:

1. Axis

2. Bolshy

3. Love Is A Bourgeois Concept

4. Flourescent

5. Inside A Dream

6. The Last To Die

7. Shout In The Evening

8. Thursday

9. Vocal

To get you in the mood, there's a video for opening track Axis, and it's a banger!
