Oasis have reportedly been offered a lucrative deal to reunite for a concert at Slane Castle - the venue they last performed at together as a band.

The band played the historic venue in Meath, Ireland in June 2009, just two months before they released a statement in which Noel said he could no longer work with Liam after Liam threw a plum at his brother's head backstage at a Paris show.

Almost ten years later, Irish promoter MCD has offered the pair a huge sum of money to reform and play the venue, in a report by Extra.ie

Speaking after announcement earlier this week that Metallica will headline the venue in June 2019, MCD chief Denis Desmond said "an offer is on the table" for the Manchester band, adding: "We promote Liam, and we promote Noel. Liam has always said someday they will [reform].

"They’ve played Slane with R.E.M., there’s always an offer on the table, and they know it. It goes up every week. And they know that as well."

UPDATE 02/10/2018: Liam Gallagher has responded to the report via a fan on Twitter, revealing: "No deal, no table, but like I’ve said before I’m ready to go." Seems we could be waiting a while longer yet.

Meanwhile, a new lyric video for Oasis' She's Electric has been released to mark the 23rd anniversary of their seminal album (What's The Story) Morning Glory. The fan favourite album track has been given some psychedelic visuals:

OfficialCharts.com recently looked into artists who don't like their hit song, including Liam's famous hatred of one of the band's best-known singles.
