Love Island's Chris & Kem team up for their debut single Little Bit Leave It

They found love, a bromance, and now they've got a record deal.

Love Island stars Chris & Kem have released their debut single, and it is already proving very popular.

Chris, who finished third in the series, and Kem, one of half of the winning couple alongside Amber Davies, have signed a record deal with Sony/Relentless Records, and their debut single Little Bit Leave It is out now.

The grime-influenced rap track was released after last night's Straight Out Of Love Island, an ITV2 special which showed what the bromantic pair have been up to since leaving the famous villa.

Partying with Stormzy at Chelmsford's V Festival in August was shown in last night's show, a reunion from when Stormzy had a video call with the islanders during the series earlier in the year. Stormzy also gave the pair a shout-out during his set at the Essex festival.

Little Bit Leave It was produced by Z Dot who has worked on tracks for the likes of Stormzy, Wiley and Professor Green. The latter acts have scored Number 1s on the Official Albums Chart while Stormzy scored a debut Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, so Chris & Kem are in good company.

The pair are the latest reality stars to pursue music careers. Last month, The Only Way Is Essex star Megan McKenna took social media by storm after ITVBe aired There's Something About Megan, a documentary about her budding country music career. Her songs High Heeled Shoes and Far Cry From Love subsequently charted in the Official Singles Chart Top 100 and the Official Trending Chart.

Meanwhile, fellow Love Island star Marcel Somerville and teamed up with his former Blazin' Squad bandmates for a handful of gigs off the back of the show's success this summer.

Chris & Kem will be on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw tomorrow morning (October 4) to discuss their new careers as recording artists. Not bad going for a farmer and a hairdresser.
