After charming us on social media with some snake-related videos, Taylor Swift has released her new single, called Look What You Made Me Do.

The singer declares 'the old Taylor Swift is dead' on the track, which marks a departure from her sound. Listen to the song below.

If the song sounds familiar to you, it might be because the hook is very similar to Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy. The duo, who have been given a writing credit on the track alongside Taylor and Jack Antonoff, praised the song's "marvellous reinvention" of their 1991 hit:

Look What You Made Me Do is the first single from Taylor's forthcoming album Reputation, which is out on November 10.

Reputation is Taylor's sixth studio album and follows two UK chart-toppers, 2012's Red and 1989 in 2014. Despite her Official Albums Chart success, Taylor has yet to score a Number 1 single in the UK. She's come close on three occasions with Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble and Shake It Off, all of which topped out at Number 2.
