Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling has debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

Only the 26th song to ever hit the top spot in its first week of release, JT's new single shifted 379,000 downloads, the highest sales week of any single this year.

The track is Justin fifth US Number 1 and his first in nine years. The Trolls movie soundtrack song follows other chart toppers SexyBack, My Love, What Goes Around... Comes Around and Give It To Me, the Timbaland track he featured on along with Nelly Furtado.

Can't Stop The Feeling really is unstoppable on both sides of the Atlantic. Justin performed the track during the Eurovision Song Contest last Saturday and is the UK's Number 1 single at the midweek stage.

The rest of the Top 5 all drop one place: Drake's One Dance is at 2, Desiigner's Pands dips to 3, Lukas Graham's 7 Years falls to 5 and Mike Posner's I Took A Pill In Ibiza experiences a comedown to 5.

Rounding out the top flight this week is Rihanna with Needed Me (10). The cut from eighth studio album Anti is RiRi's 29th Top 10 single, which means she now has the third most Top 10s ever, tied with Michael Jackson.

Elsewhere on the chart, MNEK and Zara Larsson's Never Forget You hits a career peak for the pair (14). We spoke to them both when the single peaked at Number 5 in the UK.
