Yet to release her debut album, but no stranger to the upper echelons of the Official Chart, Hold My Hand will be Glynne’s third Number 1 in total, having previously reached the top spot twice last year featuring on Clean Bandit’s smash Rather Be, the most streamed track of 2014, and also provided guest vocals on Route 94’s chart-topping My Love.

Shifting nearly 50,000 copies so far this week, Hold My Hand looks likely to deliver Jess’s first solo Number 1, leading midweek Number 2, James Bay’s Hold Back The River, which is up two places to 2.

Years & Years’ King slides one place to 3 today, followed by reigning Number 1 Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down FT John Legend, at 4.

Sigma are on track for this week’s second-highest new entry with Higher FT Labrinth (5).
