We maaay just have a new popstar on our hands. Yes, Jennifer Lawrence, J.Law, J.Lizzle (...we made that last one up) is on track to score her first UK Top 20 single this weekend with The Hanging Tree.
Taken from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack, the James Newton Howard track, featuring Jennifer on vocals, made its Official Singles Chart Update debut on Wednesday at Number 29, today climbing a further 12 places to Number 17.
Can it hang on until Sunday? We’ll have to wait and see, but let’s be honest, who cares about an Oscar when there’s a Top 20 single on the cards?!
