Inside Out claims this year's Christmas Number 1 DVD/Blu-ray

The kids animated animated film beats Mission Impossible to the Official Video Chart festive top spot.

Congratulations to Inside Out, who claim this year's Christmas Number 1 DVD/Blu-ray!

Disney's animated adventure climbs from 2 to 1 to claim this year's festive top spot with sales of 93,000, pushing last week's Number 1, Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation, down to two. 

Since its release four weeks ago, Inside Out has claimed the Top 2 spots on the Official Video Chart and has shifted a total of 608,000 to date.

This week's highest new entry on the tally goes to 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four, which lands at Number 3, while the rest of the Top 5 comprises of Minions (up one place to 4) and Ant Man (5).

In the battle of the comedians, Michael McIntyre (Number 6) beats Mrs Brown’s Boys (Number 7) and Kevin Bridges (Number 8) as the biggest selling comedy DVD/Blu-ray this week.

Outside the Top 10, John Bishop's Supersonic Live leaps from 20 to 12, and the original Star Wars trilogy box set vaults 36 to 15, marking its first Top 20 entry in 10 years. 

Other new entries in this week's Top 40 are teen drama Paper Towns at Number 16, The Bad Education Movie at 17 and Warner Home Video's Vacation at 40.

Finally, there are two entries in this week's Top 40: Top Gear - Greatest Hits is up 22 spots to 23, and the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy box set climbs from 54 to Number 33.
