Glastonbury have announced details of when and how to get tickets for the festival in 2019.

The popular festival will return next year for its 49th year after taking a fallow year in 2018 to allow the land at Worthy Farm to recover.

Organisers have announced that the first tickets will go on sale in two batches; one with coach packages on October 4, and another standard ticket sale on October 7. Visit here for more tickets details and registration.

The first line-up announcement will follow in the months after, before a re-sale of unwanted tickets.

Fans need to have already registered on Glastonbury’s website in order to be eligible to purchase tickets, using a passport photo taken within the last two years to eliminate touting.

Organiser Emily Eavis recently said next year's festival lineup was shaping up nicely, and teased that a non-British female will taken on the famous 'legends slot' on Sunday afternoon.

Official Charts readers have so far tipped Kylie Minogue as the favourite for the slot, with Cher in second place. Vote here.
