Gayle has just surprise dropped her new single, and follow-up to Number 1 smash hit abcdefu.

Abc...is currently still reigning at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart (although it may soon be overtaken by the Encanto cast), but Gayle has been teasing new music for a while now on her social media.

Ur just horny arrives via Atlantic and Arthouse records, co-written by Gayle, Daniel Kyriakides and Sara Davis and produced by Daylight and Peter Nappi, who also produced abcdefu.

Following on from her breakthrough hit, ur just horny continues Gayle's growing trademark of anarchistic pop-punk bangers, that harkens back to Avril Lavigne, Olivia Rodrigo and Julia Michaels. There's an undeniable pop sheen to the track too, especially in its anthemic, shouty post-chorus.

"[The song] is about the time I crossed the line in a friendship that I thought was platonic for years," Gayle said in a statement. "It’s hard to separate platonic, romantic, and sexual feelings and sometimes in friendships the lines can get blurry."

Last week saw Gayle hit Number 1 in the UK for the very first time with her breakthrough hit abcdefu, which saw the Nashville-based pop star become one of the youngest acts to ever reach Number 1 under the age of 18.

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com as abcdefu first started to climb the charts, Gayle hinted at the direction of her new single; "I'm looking forward to people making assumptions about me and getting to prove them wrong. I'm looking forward to people not making assumptions [...] I like it when people underestimate me."

So, Gayle is like new Olivia Rodrigo. We are going to have a new young girl with mediocre songs every season now?

looks like it, Olivia has a very sweet and beautful vocals, i do love the Disney songs from Olivia Rodrigo than the sour stuff more, as that age approprite to play, and her Disney High School Musical is Family Friendly hits than Sour, as that has swear words in the mix, Gayle has a powerful voice like paramore and we are in the crowd but sadly her two released tracks is not for family at all, and targeting for older teens or for aduilts i say.

nothing really exicting about this songs at all, Gayle got a powerful voice and vocals like paramore or we in the crowd vibes going on, but the lyrics is very average and so for mature audience only just like top hits songs right now, i think a lot of songs in the charts is very silmar, and some it not great lyrics expecially for the charts, we want more family friendly lyrics song in the mainstream charts, we really do, we dont want about personal explict songs, swearing, breakup, ex themes all the time, we need more family songs, Charts is not meant to be R or 15 cert Gentre, or NC-17 for that matter, so it got to cut down to U.
