If you've been partying it up in the clubs of late or whether your a fan of classic house, you'll probably be familiar with Dynoro and Gigi D'Agostino's In My Mind.

The dancefloor smash has been climbing the charts and growing in airplay over the last two months; and this week takes the Number 1 spot on the UK's Official Trending Chart.

In My Mind has been released in various guises over the past six years. The song originates with Australian producer Ivan Gough and Aussie duo Fennixpawl, who had minor chart success with in Europe in 2012 thanks to remix by Axwell

US rapper Flo Rida released his own version - called In My Mind Part 2 - later that year, released as a single in Australia only.

That same year (are you keeping up?), Dyonoro released his own version of the song that featured the hook from Italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino's song L'amour Toujour. Their new version, an updated remix for 2018, seems to have done the trick and is currently enjoying success across the world. After seven weeks on the Official UK Singles Chart, In My Mind looks set to climb into the Top 10 this Friday.

Elsewhere on this week's trending Top 20, breakthrough hits by Freya Ridings (Lost Without You) and Dean Lewis (Be Alright) make strong showings as they continue to climb up the Official Singles Chart Top 40, while the latest singles from Jason Derulo and Sigala make an appearance as they head towards their Top 40 debuts this Friday (Sept 21). The latter's track, Just Got Paid ft. Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor and French Montana, arrives ahead of the producer's debut album Brighter Days on September 28.

Finally several brand new singles land in this week's Official Trending Chart, including the latest release from The 1975's forthcoming album, Sincerity Is Scary, Better by Khalid, and Lana Del Rey's surprise release Mariners Apartment Complex.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart is a brand new chart launched for 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has already highlighted emerging hits such as future Number 1 singles Rudimental's These Days, Shotgun by George Ezra, and Jess Glynne's I'll Be There.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
