Chase & Status, Bou and Flowdan pounce to Number 1 on Official Trending Chart

Plus new entires from Burna Boy Dave and Joel Corry & Rita Ora.

Chase & Status, Bou and Flowdan's massive banger Baddadan has pounced to the Number 1 spot on this week's Official Trending Chart.

The drum'n'bass smash is expected to rise into the Top 10 for the first time this week, meaning that Chase & Status would claim two simultaneous Top 10 hits thanks to Baddadan and their Becky Hill collaboration Disconnect. It would be the first Top 10 entry for both producer Bou and vocalist Flowdan, as well as featured artists IRah, Trigga and Takura.

Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus's emotional new ballad Used To Be Young is a brand new entry also heading for a Top 10 debut this Friday. The single has been added to the tracklist of Miley's recent UK Number 1 album, Endless Summer Vacation and will be her second Top 10 UK hit this year, following the Number 1 success of Flowers, the biggest song of 2023 so far.

Other new entries that could impact the Singles Chart Top 40 this week also come from Selena Gomez (the perky Single Soon) Burna Boy (who is heading for his first ever UK Number 1 album this week) and Dave (Cheat On Me) and Joel Corry, MK and Rita Ora (Drinkin')
