Captain America: Civil War battling Bad Neighbours 2 on Official Video Chart Update

Eight new entries look to hit this Sunday's Top 40.

Chris Evans takes on Seth Rogen in this week's Official Video Chart, the weekly countdown of the UK's best selling DVD and Blu-ray releases.

Last week's Number 1 Captain America: Civil War looks set to keep its place at the top spot, shifting 46,000 copies at today's halfway mark. The Marvel epic sold 315,000 units last week and is the fourth fastest selling movie of the year so far behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Spectre and Deadpool.

Civil War is also the fastest selling franchise of the Captain America series. The first film missed out on an Official Video Chart Number 1, while the second - Winter Soldier - secured the top spot with a first week total of 280,000.

This week's Number 2 is a new entry from Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne movie Bad Neighbours 2. The first instalment in the franchise hit Number 1 in 2014 with sales of 100,000. Former Number 1 The Jungle Book sits at three with more new entries rounding out the Top 5; The Flash - The Complete Second Season is at 4, with Ewan McGregor's Our Way of Traitor at 5.

New entries and high climbers

Morgan Freeman film London Has Fallen is expected to rise five places to Number 8 this week while Dame Maggie Smith's The Lady In The Van is also on the up, ascending six to Number 10. A Bad Neighbours 1 and 2 double pack is new at 16, followed by a re-entry for Top Gun at 18. 

Tom Hiddlestone's Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light looks to start out at 21, The Curse of Robert the Doll lands at 25 and Once Upon A Time In The West is at 28. With Bridget Jones' Baby on the horizon, the Bridget Jones' Diary/The Edge of Reason duo rises from 43 to 30, and finally, Escape From Warsaw is new at 36.
