The Swedish DJ’s follow-up to massive-selling Wake Me Up debuts on Radio 1.

After having a huge smash hit with Wake Me Up, you’d think Avicii would want to take a little bit of time to kick back and celebrate his success. Not a chance! He’s moving on pretty quickly, with new single You Make Me.

The new track, the second to be taken from Avicii’s forthcoming album True, was given its first airing on legendary dance DJ Pete Tong’s show on Radio 1 last night. You Make Me features vocals from Swedish musician Salem Al Fakir, who previously collaborated with Avicii on his 2012 hit Silhouettes.

Avicii, AKA producer Tim Bergling, has scored two Number 1s on the Official Singles Chart in 2013. First up was I Could Be The One with Dutch DJ Nicky Romero in February. Next came the monster smash Wake Me Up in July, featuring vocals from Aloe Blacc, which is the fastest-selling single of 2013 so far, shifting almost 267,000 copies in its first week on sale alone! Wake Me Up spent three weeks at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and has sold over 637,000 copies since its release last month.

Can You Make Me score Avicii an Official Chart hat trick and take him back to Number 1? The song is set for release in September, and you can track its progress right here on OfficialCharts.com.
