Avengers lead battle for Official Video Chart Number 1

Plus new entries The Big Bang Theory, Building Jerusalem, The Age of Adeline, more.

The Avengers are set to assemble atop the Official Video Chart once again as the second film in the Marvel franchise, Age Of Ultron, rockets toward this week’s Number 1 spot.

The title has sold over 280,000 copies so far this week and is set to become one of the fastest-selling releases of the year so far. The first title in the series - Avengers Assemble - spent two weeks at Number 1 back in 2012 and went on to become the third biggest selling DVD and Blu-ray title of the year.

The Complete Season 8 of The Big Bang Theory is today’s second highest new entry, landing at Number 3 midweek, trailed by The Avengers box set (4), Building Jerusalem (7), The Age of Adaline (9) and War Pigs (10).
