Apple have unveiled a brand new version of Apple Music coming soon to iOS.

The latest incarnation of the tech giant's operating system iOS 10 launches in Autumn 2016, with an overhaul of Apple Music at the heart of the new updates following user feedback.

Apple Music's Head of Global Consumer Marketing Bozoma Saint John explained the changes at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference held yesterday (June 13) in San Francisco, California while also getting the audience into some Sugar Hill Gang. As you do.

One of the biggest changes related to the For You section, an area tailored to each specific user and their musical preferences. A Discover Mix playlist sits at the top of this section, with daily curated playlists also new to add a unique element to each day.

The Downloaded Music tab integrates Apple Music with all of the music currently stored on your phone, the purchased products from your iTunes account. Lyrics are now also available for all tracks, enabling subscribers to immerse themselves in their music on a deeper level.

Artwork will also be improved, as will integration and presentation of Apple's radio service Beats 1. Finally, the Connect feature has been watered down following negative feedback. This now smaller area will share some social media updates of artists you most listen to.
