Sci-fi epic Arrival has officially... *ahem* arrived onto the Official Video Chart Update, and what a position to be in.

The movie, which stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker, is Number 1 as of today's midweek sales flash, having shifted 59,000 units in its first four days on sale. The Official Video Chart is the home entertainment industry's go-to measuring stick of the UK's best selling DVDs and Blu-rays each and every week.

Arrival is actually outselling the Top 5 combined as of this week's halfway point, with last week's Number 1 Doctor Strange at 2. Bridget Jones's Baby rises five to Number 3 in the run-up to Mother's Day this Sunday in the UK, ahead of a new entry for Rosamund Pike's A United Kingdom (4).
