American Sniper set for Official Video Chart Number 1

American Sniper is on course top this week’s Official Video Chart. The Clint Eastwood-directed biographical war drama has sold nearly 111,000 copies so far this week (sales Sunday – Wednesday) and, if its sales momentum continues into the weekend, will become Warner Home Video’s fourth Number 1 title of the year (following Game Of Thrones – Complete Fourth Season, Interstellar and The Hobbit – Battle Of The Five Armies).

There are three further new entries in today’s Official Video Chart Update Top 10. Studiocanal’s Shaun The Sheep – The Movie enters at Number 2 midweek, trailed by Universal Pictures’ Ex-Machina at 4 and Sony Pictures’ Whiplash at 5.
