WINDOWS95MAN

Who is Windows95Man?

Windows95Man, real name Teemu Keisteri, is a DJ born in Espoo, Finland on August 22 1985.

In 2008, Keisteri attracted attention in his homeland as a character named Ukkeli, which translates to 'Old Man.' As musical artist Windows95Man, Keisteri draws inspiration from 1990s culture, when his namesake Microsoft Windows 95 operating system was launched.

In early 2024, Windows95Man won Finland's annual Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, the country's competition to seek a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. No Rules! features uncredited vocals from Henri Piispanen, Finnish singer-songwriter, voice actor and presenter.

Speaking on his entry, Windows95Man says: "In my opinion, all Finns are a bit looney-tunes deep inside, and I wanted to bring that out more. Now I can share my music with an even bigger audience as well as spread the joyous message of No Rules!"

Rather controversially, since the Eurovision Song Contest forbids product placement, Windows95Man may have to perform under a different pseudonym.
