Smile is the eighth studio album from Welsh heavy-metal reggae band Skindred. Their biggest chart success to date and featuring bouncing lead single Gimme That Boom, Skindred fought a close three-way battle with Cian Ducrot and The Sherlocks in Smile's opening week in August 2023. Despite taking an early lead midweek, Skindred just missed out on the top spot by an eye-watering 150 copies, pipped by Irish singer Cian and his album Victory. 

The festival-friendly riff-laden Smile did however secure the Newport group their first ever Top 5 entry on the Official Albums Chart, along with a Number 1 on the Official Vinyl Chart and the Official Rock & Metal Chart. Smile also secured the accolade of the UK's most-downloaded album of the week, and the best-selling independent release too. A fitting chart performance to mark the band's 25th anniversary in music.
