aside from her majesty queen adele the 1st, dave is my favourite artist to come from the uk. absolutely incredible artist and one to watch on if you’re into good rap. he’s gonna be on the hot 100 in the next 5 years at least.
my favourite songs of his are “starlight” which has a laidback beat and a pleasant sample, and “screwface capital” which has amazing lyricism and a menacingly catchy beat.

his name is just 'dave'? well i checked out those tracks and i'm not much of a rap fan to begin with...gotta get used to british rappers LOL! i'll be on the official charts tomorrow after work and i'm gonna put together a list of past u.s. acts/tracks a lot of you aren't familiar with ;). 1 thing about the u.s. music scene is that it's so big here that i personally have been very fortunate and even blessed checking out all the vast talent we've had on the billboard charts over the years.

oh and yes, i def. remember adele on the hot 100...i don't think her first album did anything over here, but her 21 album was a big smash! fun times! another album that did even better than hers over here was whitney houston's bodyguard soundtrack back in 1993. that was some serious partying for me! but adele's 21 album took me back to the bodyguard soundtrack the way she dominated both the billboard 200 albums and hot 100 singles chart...just like whitney did back in the day ;)
