yay for sam ryder debuting! hope he can climb due to eurovision enxt week!

2

Awesome song and although it's certainly worthy of winning, we won't be anywhere near as the other European countries unfortunately don't always vote for their favorite/best song and the majority still dislike UK for political reasons and the fact we always qualify for the final (although we not the only ones)

C

Conor

1

shame cate's brother didn't make the top 50 but glad it charted anyway!

C

Conor

1

i'm not too upset about dermot missing out because all of his tracks have climbed fr several weeks to their peaks so would not be surprised if this des the same

C

Conor

0

shame this love missed out on the top 40. and the worst thing is that if peru, mmfg, down under etc were on acr she probably would've managed

avatar

GS

2

In the past 8 weeks, we've only had 6 new songs in the top 10. this is a new low since 2016, before acr was introduced to stop the charts from being boring, but now we just have a boring chart and an inaccurate chart so maybe its time for it to go

avatar

Piran

5

I don't think removing ACR would solve that problem (if anything, it'd make it worse), but yeah, at least getting of rid of it would make the charts more accurate again. :/

avatar

Aqua

2

OCC should just have a 20 week-recurrency rule like billboard, so at least it's a bit better

avatar

thierry henon

5

LADY GAGA with her brand new single HOLD MY HAND only at number 51!! How come so low?! Another great single for the queen...

avatar

Piran

6

What's up with the singles chart this week?

Even Taylor & Dermot missed the Top 40! :(

Hoping next week is a lot better.

2

This Love is actually pushed a bit from what i heard, let's hope it's true

SOMETHING TO SOMEONE by DERMOT only at number 44!!!?? At least his new amazing song is the best new entry in the IRISH CHART at number 2!! He is so underrated in the UK!!

‘Green Green Grass’ is a big step up from ‘Anyone For You’ in my opinion!

Also impressed to see Lizzo jump by that much & into the Top 5 for the first time with ‘About Time’, especially after last week’s huge climb!

Congrats to her even if the song still needs to grow on me a little. :)

Hoping to see Florence + The Machine along with some Eurovision songs entering next week’s chart, maybe with a couple from the latter in the Top 40. :)

Hyped that Kendrick’s finally back in the charts this week too & hopefully we’ll see even more of him here next week! ✊🏾

Still no Top 40 singles for Sigrid from this era, but at least she ended up with the runner-up spot on albums!

Also, we lost ‘Birthday Cake’ from the region WAY too soon. :/
