That means All I Want For Christmas For You dosen't have a much of a chance this year for the week after, seeing as it relies on Christmas and the lead up to it a lot, and most days of sales are past that.

I really want All I Want For Christmas Is You to be number one, it has reached number two for the last three years in a row

I'm pretty sure it would've been last year if it wasn't for ACR. I really want it to get there this year too, kinda surprised it hasn't yet.

It was a massive controversy last year. Apparently the data was miscounted, over other songs.

There's also a theory that Amazon (it was an Amazon exclusive) payed the OCC to try and get it to Number 1.

I kind of believe it, it wasn't doing well midweek, and suddenly shot up. It wasn't even Number 1 on Amazon, nevermind the fact it wasn't anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure there were people who quit the site over it, which I don't really blame them for, regardless of which one it was.

The song wasn't available on any streaming or download platforms which makes up most of the chart so it's strange that it managed to get to number one

Yeah, it got popular on TikTok. Should've charted when it first came out, it's a great song.

My favourite Beyonce song is either 6 Inch with The Weeknd or Brown Skin Girl with Saint JHN, but this song is pretty good.

Also, I thought Jay-Z would've had a few Number 1s by that point of this songs release, I could've sworn he did.

Also, it's kinda weird seeing this place more active than Headline Planet, it used to feel double the size and now it feels the opposite way.

Yeah, it would be cool if we could do it a day earlier this week, but I'm just happy that we'll be reaching that milestone for a second consecutive week! :D

I'll wait to see how many people they are on it, but it's still usually fairly busy on a Monday night, even if the numbers aren't anything like they were a few weeks back like you said.

Yeah, though I'm not complaining if we do it even on Thursday. I hope we can get there consistently.

As for Headline Planet, it usually has the same first day activity as here, but there's basically no one past Day 1.

Yeah, unlike OCC, there seems to be a rapid drop in the number of comments the night after the article posts.

I wonder why though, they're really similar communities.

It could be because the chart movement is a bit more exciting in the UK, where #1's generally don't tend to last as long, there's a mix of genres in the charts (due to far less trap) & ACR tends to shake things up a bit more?

That might change with 'Folklore' coming next week though, because for as much as "album bombs" are a thing of the past in the UK, they're very much not in the US! ;)
