IĀ“m positively surprised to see YES back on the chart at #30, been listening the whole album and YES is still very relevant. They havenĀ“t lower their standarts not one bit, still going strong as they always have, go for it YES! Pekka from Finland

I like Yes n all, always done good music on ere.

Yep - Yes have never disappointed - ''Close To The Edge'' can still cut it for me - back in the days when musicians were stars as well as the singers ...

Bill Bruford was one of my university lecturers. He didn't think musicians were the stars (at least not in his specific case of Yes), because they never adorned the cover. In some cases, never had their own image on the release at all.
He felt quite anonymous by it all, which he enjoyed. The music did the 'talking' as it were.

Yeh - but at least way back then I knew who played say keyboards or drums or who was the lead guitarist for nearly all the bands which in my book made them stars even if they were reluctant like Bill Bruford to be renowned artists - today it's completely different - maybe it could be because we had to shell out for full price albums as it was the only way you could own the music.

Kesha's Gag Order is her first album to chart outside the UK Top 100 (Despite charting 45th in Sales Chart).
What a pity British streamers overlooked this, I thought that was her best album since Rainbow.

Yesss. First time in forever i actually own both the top 2 Albums. Well done to Lewis. I love his music, but he is also a really down to Earth and friendly man who isn't afraid to poke fun of himself, despite having some mental health issues.

1

Funny you should say that as I'm only 2 albums short for the full set - haven't got round to Lewis Capaldi yet and the Ellie Goulding album still hasn't arrived for some reason - something like 1320 by now I think ...

Well done Lewis. Hope you stay at number one long enough for people to forget that boring ginger tw@t and stop Miss Rip Off Re-recording specialist from getting another number one by extorting her "fans".

Ed and Lewis are very different artists, but to say Ed is anything other than talented is just blind, deaf and illogical. he has dozens of No 1's and sells out tours, even for those that don't like him, it doesn't change facts. As it happens, i like Lewis more, but some people don't, you just have to accept it.

Totally agree with you re Taylor! My God, she keeps releasing albums with just a few more songs onto it...She is indeed extorting her fans and makes so much money!! Do she think that teenage kids can afford to buy her 2 releases a year??!! she could at least give them a free album!! so greedy that one!!
