Plain and simple Madonna's music has been roughly since Vogue in 1990.
My partner was a huge fan of her and bought all her records, even dressed like her, but even she says her music has been rubbish, with only the occasional decent song like Frozen, or Rain. Basically anything post 1990 isnt what the Masonna fans or most fans expected her to be at in terms of musical style. She always followed trends and obviously her appearance changed daily, but her actual music is trying to be something that doesn't suite how we perceive Madonna to sound.
I still prefer to play Borderline, Like a virgin, Holiday, or Material girl, singles like that, and I wasn't the big fan my partner was.

Another one talking **** and desperately trying to rewrite history. If her music had gotten worse after Vogue, she wouldn't have attracted new fans with later critically acclaimed albums

Ray of Light, Music and Confessions were hits that completely won over the GP and music critics, but yeah, let's ignore the millions of fans who purchased those later albums and label her a big flop because two people (including the loser agreeing with you) all said her music got worse after Vogue. lmao.

You've said (by your own admission) that you're not a big fan, so who are you to say her music is "not what fans expected from her after 1990"? We didn't expect anything and that's the beauty of Madonna always managing to surprise. Did you seriously expect her to continue churning out bubble-gum pop after the first two albums with no evolution whatsoever? Thank heavens she progressed and gave us Like a Prayer (an album that Rolling Stone said was "as close to art as pop music gets". Then she surprised us again with a jazz album in 90. It was around this time that she became known as the shapeshifting chameleon of the music industry. We've never had any expectations from Madonna, we were there for the ride, unlike loud mouthed mincer fans of certain pop dollies who whine when their dares to try something new outside of disco bops.

As for that nonsense about her being a trend hopper, who else was using Nutcracker samples and working with the Batukadeiras before her? and aren't you the one that said she stole the Abba sample when in reality they gave her permission to use it?

I'm beginning to think you're that Jake loser. He used to create multiple accounts on DS just to talk sh"t about M, then log in and out with aliases just to agree with himself lmao. Total psycho. lol

The desperation of all these Kylie fans trying to paint Madonna as a big flop is a scream, lol.

Her going top 3 in the UK (as well as #1 in other parts of the world) has well and truly got them flummoxed. Part me of thinks karma is at work after they spent the past week tearing M to pieces and channelling all their time and energy into buying, streaming the Steps album to stop her from getting another well deserved #1 (we all know you joined forces with Steps fans, so don't even try to deny it).

What's even funnier is they had no idea about the three most important records Madonna was about to gobble up on the other side of the world. A record they would've killed for Kylie to get in her home land but they let it slip by without buying and streaming Madonna's competition. "How could we let this happen" they ask themselves as they sit and scratch the three strands of hair on their shiny bald heads? Well, like I said, it's Karma for being so spiteful and nasty. Maybe you should sit and have a think about what c*nts you've all been and learn something from it.

Salty? Try levelling that at the one saddo Kylie fan who's old enough to draw his pension and should know better. Kylie is a clown! The name alone sounds like some cheap plastic toy, not unlike the real thing. Putting her at Madonna's level is like putting Boyzone at the table with the Beatles. One has sold over 400 million albums world wide, the other barely 75 million in the UK & Australia. You just dont put with royalty.

i love madonna have done for over 35 years now love kylie nearly as long and steps for a good while now so folks love what you love. not because it sold x amount but because you love it. there is really far more important things to get upset about than who charted higher and who sold more. the world won't end cause such and such outsold someone else now will it. just be glad you's are actually alive to love the music that you love.

I love Kylie since day 1 , since we all know she's the queen of pop, it's always a pleasure for Kylie fans to beat her

C

. I was willing to play along with the trolling but these poor, deluded, mentally challenged Kylie fans really do believe their 3ft disco dolly is the Queen of Pop lol. Well no, she's not, and she never will be. It would take a lot more than 8 #1's in one country to become Madonna's successor and Kylie hasn't conquered the world or achieved a a quarter of what Madonna has. I'm so embarrassed for you. lol

Damián

I guess, as a retarded inmature as you might be, you can't even read a text properly, when I was referring the queen of pop, I was mentioning Madonna. It seems the new teenager behaviours and looks of 64 Granny affects his fans too

exactly!! music is completely subjective and these obsessed lunatics think an artist is objectively better just because that artist has sold more than another. it doesn’t matter if your favourite artist is a global megastar or an underground artist with 300 fans, like what you want to like and don’t put others down for it

Thing is, if you actually bother to read all the threads, you'll see it was a bizarre rather old Kylie fan, that came here to demean this remix albums success. Comparing Kylies last studio outings to this, Madonnas remix album. Fact is, these morons who are pretty basic dull individuals like the woman they fawn over, will never get over the critical mauling and mockery the press gave Kylie in the 90's for well, trying to copy the sexual stuff Madonna was doing at the time. She used Madonnas old producers & designers in a bid to lose her rather tacky, manufactured roots. It was a disaster. And sadly for her she never learned. She limped from dud to dud during the 90's and only recovered by going back to make music for the saddo's who bought her in the first place. Not very intelligent gay men! Kylie fans have remained bitter ever since. As if some ex Australian soapstar would ever compete with Madonna at her level, and with her pop disco credentials.

Most of Kylies career Shes been mocked and laughed at. Singing budgie, madonna wannabe, you name
it. The gaggle of old, not so intelligent queens who support her, are the type that still live with their ageing mothers and stack shelves in Aldi. Not the brightest in the bunch. And thry feel immensely threatened by Madonna's overt sexuality and intellect. Her music goes way above their heads. Kylies basic form of dull, same sounding pop is about as deep as they go. Madame X by Madonna dumbfounded most of them. Because Madonna is able to morph between sounds and cultures. Kylie? She struggles to morph between
wigs! Madonna is for the thinking gays, Kylie? For the old gays who still live at home. Sad
