Tom Jones's great and brave new album, Surrounded by Time should open at #1. And so it will be, listen to my word!

Are you familiar with their previous 25 years of hits? (including a #1)
PS if you think that is awful, try listening to #81

I'm beginning to think maybe its time greatest hits/best of albums should be excluded from the top 100 so many stand alone, new releases even back catalogue titles are denied chart positions and lose their places in chart history.

The charts present what ppl are buying so if new releases do not make a dent in the charts it's probably because lack of sales.

No change in positions this week. All 42 albums on the chart every week so far remain on chart for another week. The number of new hits now equals the number of old hits (albums on chart 2020 and earlier) - 115 each, 230 hit albums in total.
With new albums only accounting for 16.2% of chart weeks and 21.7% of chart impact, the new albums are much smaller hits than the catalogue records from previous years. Those 42 albums accounting for 56% of all chart weeks awarded in 2021.

Once more a wrong cover shown: Instead of the cover of "A" by Jethro Tull, we see the cover of their most famous album, "Aqualung" .
