Top 10 albums of the year - week 16:
1 (1) Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 1116 (1043)

2 (2) Harry Styles - Fine Line 1100 (1029)

3 (3) Pop Smoke - Shoot For The Stars 1093 (1027)

4 (4) Queen - Greatest Hits 1080 (1013)

5 (5) Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired 1043 (980)

6 (6) Fleetwood Mac - 50 Years Don't Stop 1010 (941)

7 (7) Ed Sheeran - Divide 992 (927)

8 (8) Elton John - DIamonds 961 (899)

9 (9) Juice Wrld - Legends Never Die 899 (849)

10 (11) Kid Laroi - Fk Love 876 (833)

Taylor Swift drops out of the top 10 by 2 points but is some distance ahead of 12th place Rumours (Fleetwood Mac). She also completes her 52nd week on the chart guaranteeing an average of at least one album on the chart for the whole year - even without any of her 5 hits this year charting again until 2022!

With such large gaps developing, I don't see much positional change beyond 10 and 11 fighting for bottom place for some months yet.

Your top ten on this week's sales chart.
1-11

7-erm, there's a theme developing here
8-yep, another one not there

Just shows you how much streams have infiltrated even the album charts.

Kind of funny that Taylor Swift has had 4 no.1 Albums in 77 weeks...It shows that music is not selling anymore... She will most likely release all her album by years end...Charts are so predictable and not really truthful i feel sorry for the artist of the last 60 years that charted before streaming because nobody is every gonna remember songs from the last 10 years... Even worse in the USA when Billboard lets 15 songs from one album debut in the same week...and they are gone in 2 to 4 weeks later off the chart....Glad for Taylor...

I'm so happy for Taylor! ❤️

She's worked so hard for this, but perhaps the biggest achievement to come out of 'Fearless [Taylor's Version]' isn't the fact that it's a #1 album, it's the fact that she has full ownership of the music.

Is she re-recording the entire catalogue?
By some distance the fastest collection of #1 albums

Just her albums from “Taylor Swift” to “Reputation”

Could still be enough to beat Madonna by the time her first new songs come out. 12 years from debut and 9 years from first #1, Taylor is 3 years of Madonna ahead from debut and 6 ahead from first #1. As Madonna had 3 years between her 7th and 8th #1s, Taylor has 6 years to equal that stage of career! Chances are she'll do it in the next 6 months if current trands are anything to go by.

I think it's her first six studio albums (so from 'Taylor Swift' to 'Reputation'). :)
