The Churned, a boyband made up of hunky farmers put together by Yeo Valley, look set to be an unlikely addition to this week’s Official Singles Chart.

The quartet set Twitter and Facebook alight when they debuted their new track, ‘Forever’, on Saturday during an ad break of The X Factor on ITV 1. The Churned have since clocked up nearly 200,000 plays on YouTube.

"We're thrilled to hear that The Churned's debut single is already making fantastic headway in the Official Singles Chart,” Ben Cull from Yeo Valley told theofficialcharts.com. “Last year we were overwhelmed by the response to the rapping farmers ['The Yeo Valley Rap' by The Yeo Valley Boyz Feat. Mr George, which spent two weeks in the Top 75 in November], and this year we wanted to be different and produce something that would surprise our audience yet again.

“I hope the video conveys the passion we have in our products and why we think farming naturally makes the difference,” he added. “After the video aired on Saturday night, we saw an amazing response on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter with numerous comments calling for us to be Number 1! We're looking forward to seeing how high the single charts."
