X Factor finalists 5 After Midnight have signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco Music.

The trio, made up of Kieran Alleyne (21), Jordan Lee (21) and Nathan Lewis (24), today join Syco's roster (January 18), which includes Little Mix, James Arthur and Louisa Johnson.

The group finished third on last year's X Factor series, behind Saara Aalto and winner Matt Terry.

Nathan said: "What an honour it is to be working with the best label in the business. This is a dream come true."

“To say that we are part of a roster that includes artists such as One Direction and Little Mix is just incredible," Jordan added, while Kieran commented: “We want to thank our supporters and can't wait to give them new music, our music."

Tyler Brown, Managing Director, Syco Music said: “It is very rare that a group can sing, dance and perform at a level that 5 After Midnight do. We will be making a record that enables them to fully showcase their huge talent."
