Worship Central’s new live album, Let it Be Known, becomes the second ever Number 1 on the new Official Christian And Gospel Chart.

Today is a double celebration for Worship Central; not only have the London-based Christian collective scored their highest charting album to date on the Official Albums Chart with their new live album, Let It Be Known (Number 45), they’ve also gone straight to Number 1 on the new Official Christian And Gospel Chart, too!

The UK’s first Official Christian And Gospel Albums Chart was launched last Monday evening (March 11) by the Official Charts Company, in partnership with Christian charity Compassion, to recognise the growing interest in the genre.

Last week’s chart topper, Hillsong United’s Zion, slips into second place, while Passion: Let the Future Begin, which was recorded live at the 2013 Passion Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, is new in at Number 3.

This week’s Top 5 is completed by Grammy award winning worship leader Matt Redman’s 10,000 Reasons (Number 4) and Chris Tomlin’s Burning Lights (Number 5).
