Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy set to oust Mrs Brown from the top spot

The DVD and Blu-ray release of the big screen adaptation of John le Carre’s 1974 novel, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, looks set to oust Mrs Brown’s Boys – Series One from the top of the Official Video Chart.

The DVD and Blu-ray release of the big screen adaptation of John le Carre’s 1974 novel, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, looks set to oust Mrs Brown’s Boys – Series One from the top of the Official Video Chart.

The British-produced thriller, which stars Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt and Benedict Cumberbatch, has been undoubtedly spurred on by its three Oscar and 11 BAFTA nominations (including two Best Actor nods for Oldman).

Drive (starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan) is on course to be this week’s Number 2, while Mrs Brown’s Boys – Series One is currently in third place.

The Diamond Edition of Walt Disney’s 1955 animated classic Lady And The Tramp is new in at Number 4, while Steve Carell’s latest rom-com, Crazy, Stupid, Love completes the Update Top 5.
