The X Factor Celebrities 2019 are heading for the UK's Official Singles Chart this Friday.

The cast of X Factor: Celebrity have released a cover of Snow Patrol's Run, which is on course for the Top 40 this Friday. In the styling of another version of the song by X Factor 2007 winner Leona Lewis rather than the original, Run is currently at Number 29 based on downloads and streams since the song was released last Saturday night (November 30).

The most downloaded song so far this week, the celebs singing on the track include series winner reality star Megan McKenna, runners-up CBBC stars Max & Harvey, and fellow finalists The Chase's Jenny Ryan and social media influencers V5.

Run was released in support of two charities Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

While primarily known for her stint reality shows like Ex on the Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way Is Essex, the season's winner Megan McKenna has pursued a career in music before.

Following an ITV2 show There's Something About Megan in 2018 chronicling her pursuit into country music, her debut album Story Of Me peaked at Number 6 on the UK's Official Country Albums Chart. Story Of Me is being released on CD for the very first time this Friday (December 6).
