The Weeknd announces Starboy: Legend of the Fall UK arena tour dates

The mother f-in Starboy himself The Weeknd will soon shoot his way over to the UK for a string of shows as part of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall world tour in 2017.

The Canadian's newest single Starboy has set the Official Singles Chart alight, and he will soon do the same in arenas across the UK, with seven dates set for March 2017.

Real name Abél Tessfaye, The Weeknd will hit six cities including London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Leeds. The tour dates can be seen below:

The UK dates are: 

March 7 - London, O2 Arena
March 8 - London, O2 Arena
March 10 - Glasgow, SSE Hydro
March 11 - Newcastle, Newcastle Arena
March 13 - Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena
March 14 - Leeds, First Direct Arena

The Weeknd's forthcoming album Starboy is released on November 25. The album features the lead single of the same name, a collaboration with Daft Punk which has so far peaked at Number 2 in the UK - his highest chart position to date.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday, November 4. Priority Tickets will be available from 10am tomorrow (November 2).
