Elyar Fox - Rather Be (Clean Bandit)

18 year old Londoner Elyar Fox covers the record-breaking Rather Be by classical crossover quartet, Clean Bandit.

CHART HISTORY: Elyar Fox has scored two Official Singles Chart Top 20 hits to date, with his most recent release, A Billion Girls, peaking at Number 11. Clean Bandit have also scored two Top 40 hits with Rather Be claiming the Number 1 spot and spending an incredible 11 weeks at the top of the Official Streaming Chart!

American Authors - Lights (Ellie Goulding)

US rock band, American Authors put their spin on chart favourite Ellie Goulding’s Lights.

CHART HISTORY: American AuthorsBest Day Of My Life hit Number 17 on the Official Singles Chart earlier this year, while their debut album, Oh What A Life peaked at Number 26. Ellie Goulding has scored an impressive 12 Top 40 singles, with Burn becoming her first, and only, Number 1 in 2013. Ellie has released two UK studio albums and both Lights and Halcyon have reached Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.

Nina Nesbitt - Chocolate (The 1975)

Scottish singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt covers indie rock band, The 1975’s Chocolate.

CHART HISTORY: 19 year-old Nina Nesbitt has earned two Official Singles Chart Top 40 singles to date and is best known for her 2013 single, Stay Out. Her debut album, Peroxide, charted at Number 11 when it was released earlier this year. Manchester-based The 1975 have had three Official Singles Chart Top 40s, with Chocolate earning them their highest chart position at Number 19. The 1975’s debut self-titled album shot to Number 1 when it was released in 2013.

Miles Kane - The Drugs Don’t Work (The Verve)

Former The Rascals frontman, Miles Kane covers The Verve’s Official Singles Chart Number 1 hit, The Drugs Don’t Work.

CHART HISTORY: Miles Kane has scored two Official Albums Chart Top 40s with 2011’s Colour Of The Trap and 2013’s Don’t Forget Who You Are. The Verve have secured five Top 40 albums with 1997’s Urban Hyms and 2008’s Forth hitting Number 1. The Verve have also enjoyed seven Official Singles Chart Top 40s including their Grammy Award nominated, Bitter Sweet Symphony.

White Lies - Ride (Lana Del Rey)

English post-punk band White Lies cover Lana Del Rey’s 2012 Official Singles Chart Top 40 hit, Ride.

CHART HISTORY: White LiesTo Lose My Life and Farewell To The Fairground both entered the Official Singles Chart Top 40. The band have also had three Top 5 Official Albums Chart releases, including 2009’s Number 1, To Lose My Life. Lana Del Rey has scored seven Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits with 2013’s Summertime Sadness becoming her highest charting single at Number 4. Lana’s debut album Born To Die went straight in at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart back when it was released in 2012.
