The Script are set to appear on RTÉ One's The Late Late Show.

Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power will appear on the popular show this Friday November 1, a week ahead of the release of their sixth studio album Sunsets and Full Moons, out November 8. The appearance coincides with the bang putting out the album's opening track Something Unreal the same day.

The record's lead single, The Last Time, recently became The Script's 16th Top 50 hit on the Official Irish Singles Chart - view the band's full chart history here, including three Number 1s.

We recently caught up with the band to discuss the return to their signature sound, with Danny admitting that they "maybe got it wrong" with the electronic styling of their last album Freedom Child.

All five of The Script's previous studio albums have reached Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart. Four of them were released since 2010, making them the Irish group with the most chart-topping albums this decade.
