The Rolling Stones announce No Filter UK stadium shows for 2018

The chart legends are back on the road, and are stopping at a stadium near you.

Rock royalty The Rolling Stones have announced five UK stadium shows as part of their No Filter European tour.

No Filter was already scheduled to happen across the continent in cities such as Amsterdam, Hamburg and Stockholm, but now the Stones have added some gigs on home soil.

The chart legends will play London Stadium on May 22 before hitting Manchester's Old Trafford, BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Cardiff's Principality Stadium and Twickenham Stadium in London in June. An Irish date in Dublin's Croke Park will kick off the UK/Ireland leg on May 17.

Tickets to the No Filter shows will go on sale this Friday (March 1) at 9am GMT, and will The Rolling Stones' first UK shows since they headlined Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park in 2013.

The Rolling Stones most recent studio album Blue & Lonesome was a runaway success, debuting at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in December 2016, becoming the year's second fastest-selling release. Jun 05: Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester, UK
Jun 09: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, UK
Jun 15: Principality Stadium, Cardiff, UK
Jun 19: Twickenham Stadium, London, UK
