The nation’s favourite James Bond DVDs revealed!

It’s International James Bond Day! Exactly 50 years ago today (October 5) Dr No, the first film in the Bond series, hit cinema screens. To celebrate, the Official Charts Company reveal the Top 10 biggest selling James Bond DVDs of all time.

It’s International James Bond Day! Exactly 50 years ago today (October 5) Dr No, the first film in the Bond series, hit cinema screens. To celebrate, the Official Charts Company reveal the Top 10 biggest selling James Bond DVDs of all time.

Daniel Craig’s first Bond film, 2006’s Casino Royale was the most purchased DVD in the franchise’s history, clocking up a massive 4 million sales in the UK alone.

Craig’s 2008 follow-up, Quantum Of Solace, takes the Number 2 slot with sales of over 2.1 million copies. Pierce Brosnan’s Die Another Day (Number 3), The World Is Not Enough (4) and Goldeneye (5) complete the Top 5.

Sean Connery, who was the first actor to play Bond on the big screen, has three entries in the Top 10 (Goldfinger, Dr No and From Russia With Love), while Roger Moore has one (Live And Let Die).
