The Greatest Showman is officially the UK's fastest-selling digital download movie of all-time

It's official - The Greatest Showman is the UK's fastest-selling digital download movie of all-time.

The musical starring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams and Zac Efron amassed 348,497 digital sales in 23 days based on data collected by the Official Charts Company and Futuresource Consulting.  

Adding the 496,993 copies on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD that were sold in the movie's first week of physical release, this leads to a huge 1.82% box office conversion.

With close to 500,000 sales, The Greatest Showman soared to Number 1 on the UK's Official Video Chart, outselling the rest of the Top 100 combined, making it the second fastest-selling DVD/Blu-ray of 2018 so far.

The Greatest Showman has been a runaway success at the box office and the high street, plus its soundtrack album is the best-selling album of 2018 so far. The Motion Picture Cast Recording has spent 15 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1, is eyeing a 16th, and matched the longest consecutive run at the top for 30 years.
