The biggest selling singles of the summer revealed!

According to the Official Charts Company’s sales data, Florence And The Machine, Maroon 5, Wiley, Stooshe and Sam And The Womp released some of the biggest selling singles of the third quarter of 2012.

According to the Official Charts Company’s sales data, Florence And The Machine, Maroon 5, Wiley, Stooshe and Sam And The Womp released some of the biggest selling singles of the third quarter of 2012.

Florence And The Machine’s Spectrum was the biggest selling single between July 1 and September 29, clocking up 453,000 sales. The Calvin Harris remix of the track topped the Official Singles Chart on July 15, and held on to the top spot for three consecutive weeks.

Another former Official Singles Chart Number 1 hit, Maroon 5’s Payphone FT Wiz Khalifa, is in second place with 413,000 sales. While Wiley’s Heatwave FT Ms D, which spent two weeks at Number 1 in early August, is at Number 3 with sales of over 365,000 copies.

The Top 5 is completed by Stooshe’s Black Heart (the only track in the Top 5 not to reach Number 1) which is at Number 4 with sales of over 318,000, and Sam And The Womp’s Bom Bom is at Number 5 with sales of nearly 300,000 copies.
