Take That have started to reveal plans for their 30th anniversary with the announcement of a greatest hits album.

What's that we hear you say - all of the group's tracks are available to stream and make into your own personalised greatest hits album playlist? Take That are way ahead of you and have come up with a solution.

Exact details have yet to be confirmed, but Gary Barlow has tweeted the best of album - due out this winter - will be a "Greatest Hits with a twist".

Could they be updating their catalogue by re-recording all of their singles? Or perhaps a selection of other artists will record their hits on the band's behalf, as Elton John recently did with Lady Gaga, Pink, Ed Sheeran and loads more.

Gary also added that after the album's the release, Take That will "turn our recordings into a live show featuring all the hits from the last 3 decades" in 2019.

Essentially, Take That fans - be ready to part ways with some cash.

The group have lots more celebrations planned to make their (almost) 30 years together, details of which will follow in the coming months. The real question is, will the full lineup return?

Look back at Take That's Official UK Chart history in full, including 12 Number 1 singles. Three of the band's albums also feature in the UK's 60 best-selling albums of all time.
