The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1 will have two special guest presenters filling in for Scott Mills on Friday December 27.

While Scott enjoys a well-deserved festive break, winners from the Student Radio Awards will cover for him and count down the UK's only Official rundown of the biggest 40 songs of the week, kicking off at 4pm.

Hannah Sackville-Bryant and Joel Mitchell, both aged 21, will follow in the footsteps of Tony Blackburn, Mark Goodier and Fearne Cotton when they host one of British radio's most iconic broadcasts.

In November, Hannah was named Best Female at the SRAs representing University Radio York, while the station was named winner in the The Student Radio Chart Show Award category.

Fellow URY alumni Joel Mitchell, who will co-host with Hannah, was the silver winner in the Best Male category at the 2018 Student Radio Awards, and also hosts on BBC Radio Leeds. Together, Hannah and Joel have previously hosted the SRA Chart Show together, so they know a thing or two about counting backwards to Number 1.

On Sunday December 29, the Official Chart: First Look show will also have some talented rising stars standing in for regular hosts Katie Thistleton & Cel Spellman.

Fat Brestovca and Kathryn Wilson will take over Katie and Cel's 4pm-7pm shift, covering Life Hacks as well as the First Look, an early glance at how the Official Singles Chart is shaping up, starting from 6pm.

Scott Mills will return to host the first Official Chart of 2020 - and the decade - on Friday January 3.
