Spice Girls set to dominate this week's Official Irish Charts following their Spiceworld show at Croke Park

Spice Girls definitely Wannabe back on the Official Irish Charts.

Following Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C's first Irish show in 21 years at Dublin's Croke Park last Friday (May 24), the group are set for multiple entries on both the Official Irish Albums and Singles Charts.

The girl group are in contention for the albums pole position, as their Greatest Hits occupies Number 2 at the midweek stage. Lewis Capaldi is currently on track for a second week at the top however; Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent has a lead of 1,000 combined chart sales. 

Spice Girls may also claim a second Top 5 entry also as their seminal album Spice is at Number 5. The group's second album Spiceworld also impacts the Top 50 at Number 15.

Over on the singles chart, Wannabe is the girls' highest charting song at 40, ahead of Spice Up Your Life at 45. Stop is just outside the Top 50 at 51.
