Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced details of a new remix album Wandermix.

The singer will release a repackage of her latest album Wanderlust on November 3 with five new dance re-workings of songs from the LP.

The 23-minute continuous Wandermix helmed by by Roy Kerr (London Grammar, Lana Del Rey) includes songs Young Blood, Runaway Daydreamer, Love Is A Camera and The Deer & The Wolf. It will be available as a standalone album or as a 2CD bundle with Wanderlust.

“From the beginning, Wanderlust has been an incredible project to work on,” Sophie said in a statement. “I have been able to make actual so many of the ideas I’ve had – or the ideas of the folk involved in the album.

“Now, I’m very pleased to announce Wandermix, the final instalment of that. It’s a long playing remix of some of the songs from Wanderlust, which has been done by Roy Kerr (aka Freelance Hellraiser).”

She continued: “I’m so happy with the results – Roy has done such a wonderful job. I hope people enjoy it. See? I told you I wouldn’t leave dance music behind for good.”

The star concluded that 2014 has been “an extraordinary year for my live shows and touring Wanderlust has felt wonderful,” adding: “Thank you to each and every one of you who came to any of the tour dates.”

Sophie released her fifth album Wanderlust in January this year, where it peaked at Number 4 and has since been certified silver. The record marked her second release on her own label EBGB Records
