Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello have sizzled their way to Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart with their new collaboration Senorita.

The song was the most downloaded and streamed track of the last seven days, finishing 1,300 combined sales ahead of Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s I Don’t Care, ending their six-week reign at Number 1.

Senorita marks Shawn’s first chart-topping single in Ireland; the Canadian previously reached as high as Number 2 with his breakthrough single Stitches in 2016, and has appeared in the Top 10 twice more with the Number 3-peaking There's Nothing Holding Me Back and when If I Can't Have You topped out at Number 7 earlier this year.

Camila Cabello hit the top spot in 2017 when Havana spent five weeks leading the Top 50. Senorita is her third Top 10 hit in total following the Number 6 peak of Never Be The Same in March 2018.

Dermot Kennedy cements his status as Ireland’s biggest homegrown artist of the moment: his latest track Outnumbered scales the chart even further, up one place to Number 3. It means he logs a second week at Number 1 on this week’s Irish Homegrown Chart – the Top 20 countdown of songs by Irish acts.

Katy Perry edges closer to the Top 10 with Never Really Over, advancing 14-11, while Stormzy lands at 14 with his new track Crown.

Lil Nas X logs two new entries this week following the release of his debut EP, called 7. Panini opens at Number 18, and Rodeo with Cardi B lassos the Number 35 position. Elsewhere, Tiesto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora’s Ritual leaps 12 rungs to Number 29, boosted by the release of its music video.

Finally, a trio of new entries sneak into the Top 50: Miley Cyrus’s Black Mirror alter-ego Ashley O is On A Roll at 47, Toronto R&B singer Ali Gatie lands at 48 with It’s You, and One Thing Right, and Marshmello’s collaboration with country singer Kane Brown, starts out at 49.
