Her duet with Rihanna, Can’t Remember To Forget You, is still in the Official Singles Chart Top 20, but Shakira is wasting no time in letting us here more new music.

The Colombian star has unveiled brand-new track Empire, which is taken from her forthcoming album, called Shakira, due out in March. The self-titled album will be Shakira’s tenth studio album and is her first English-language album since 2009’s She Wolf.

Listen to Empire now:

Shakira’s first UK hit was the global smash Whenever Wherever, which reached Number 2 in 2002. She has had 11 Top 40 hits, including six Top 10s and two Number 1s.

Shakira first topped the charts in 2006, with Wyclef Jean on Hips Don’t Lie, which spent two weeks at Number 1 and is her biggest selling single in the UK, shifting 730,000 copies. She was back there again less than a year later with none other than Beyoncé. Their collaboration, Beautiful Liar, spent three weeks at Number 1 in spring 2007.

Shakira has seen three albums make the Official Albums Chart Top 40. 2002's Laundry Service peaked at Number 2, while Oral Fixation Volume 2 peaked at Number 12 in 2006. Her most recent English-language album She Wolf reached Number 4 in 2009.
